Do you ever feel like your resume is getting filtered out by AI before a human ever sees them?
All Hands is working to counteract that by ensuring every single resume gets seen by a real human who matches candidates with employers.
But if an employer is not using All Hands for talent matchmaking, there's a good chance they're using AI to filter out resumes.
If you're hiring and ready to cut through AI spam applications and find qualified candidates with All Hands, let's chat.If you're looking for your next role, we're covering how to make sure your application makes it through — plus how to rebuild trust on your team when things feel off track.
🤖 How to AI-proof your resume:
To beat the bots, focus on making your resume interpretable by a machine:
Use a PDF for your resume
Spell out any abbreviations (e.g. Bachelor of Science)
Bullet points should be concise (1 line), specific, and clear in language
Use measurable outcomes to highlight your accomplishments — NOT a general description of your responsibilities
Cross-check that your accomplishments demonstrate the core competencies in the job description so you will rank higher in an ATS
Avoid complex visuals or charts — make it text readable
Use JobScan to score your resume against a job description
🔑 Where to find curated job opportunities:
When you're looking for roles to apply to, quality is more important than quantity.
Job fairies are quietly curating and circulating roles you won’t find anywhere else — that's why we just added new job fairies to our list yesterday.
🤝 How to repair broken trust on your team:
Broken trust on a team doesn't fix itself — but it is repairable with consistency and intentionality. Here are some habits you can build to start building your trust capital.
Prioritize active listening: have your camera on for video calls to pick up on visual and auditory cues, and ask questions that demonstrate curiosity
Offer public praise and private criticism
Close the loop — confirm when you'll do something and follow through (a simple - I've got it and will get you an answer by Tuesday can do a lot!)
Increase frequency of feedback loops when work feels off track to remove barriers and create better alignment
Feel like your team has tried everything and it's not working? We're rolling out a brand new roster of diverse coaches to help your team realize its greatest potential.
